AGT stars Piff the Magic Dragon and Puddles Pity Party bring Misery Loves Company tour to Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — The Misery Loves Company Tour is headed for downtown Tulsa. America’s Got Talent [AGT] performers Piff the Magic Dragon and Puddles Pitty Party are headed to the Cox Business Convention Center on Tues. Nov. 1.

Piff the Magic Dragon also known as, John van der Put is an award-winning, comedic magician who got his big break, AGT season 10. Piff describes himself as a grumpy dragon, with a cockney accent, who does magic.

“What I found was that by becoming a dragon, people much preferred a grumpy dragon to a grumpy English guy. So I just decided to become a dragon forever,” said Piff.

FOX23 asked Piff about his journey to stardom.

“Yeah, Mr. Piffles and I, we moved to Las Vegas in 2013. We didn’t really know anyone, but we liked being in Las Vegas, so we wanted to stay,” said Piff “So we went on America’s Got Talent on season 10 in 2015, got all the way to the finals, went down in flames. The very next day, got ourselves our own, in Las Vegas at the Flamingo and we’ve been there ever since. Almost seven years now.”

Joining Piff on stage will be a Chihuahua called Mr. Piffles and a fabulous Showgirl who loves Tulsa food.

“Oklahoma is amazing! Two, you’re crazy up there in a good way. Some of the loudest people I know. And three, I just want some good food there,” said the Showgirl, also known as Jade Simone.

Piff will be joined by Puddles Pity Party, the melancholy, singing clown, also known as Michael Geier. Puddles appeared on AGT on Season 12 and his own career has surged ever since.

“You’ve got a magic dragon an amazing Chihuahua, an insane loud showgirl an a singing clown. What can go wrong?” said the fabulous Showgirl.

The Misery Loves Company Tour will make its stop at the COX Business Center, in downtown Tulsa on Nov. 1.
