Extreme heat caused highway to buckle in Noble County

NOBLE COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said the extreme heat on June 16 cause the concrete buckled in both lanes of I-35 near mile marker 195 in Noble County.

They said currently all traffic is being diverted onto the shoulder of the highway while ODOT makes repairs, which will take several hours.

OHP also said several vehicles were damaged because of the road.
