Holiday Art Market held to support local artists impacted by AHHA closure

TULSA, Okla. — 24 artists are expected to feature their work at the Holiday Art Market. The event will be held at Apertures Photo on Dec. 2, Friday from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. The venue is located on South Yale Avenue and East 31st Street, in midtown Tulsa.

There will also have an art raffle and a bar.

“This event was curated firstly to support artists that were affected by the closure of AHHA,” said Petrabaye the event’s organizer.

AHHA is an art gallery located downtown that suddenly closed its doors on Nov. 4, 2022.

Petrabaye is a local artist who has been helping artists from AHHA find a space to continue to conduct their workshops. She ended up opening her own home for the artists to be able to hold their classes.

Now, Petrabaye has curated a group of local artists for a Holiday Art Market. She is inviting to community out to the Holiday Art Market to support her fellow artists.
