Fostering Connections hosting fundraiser to help children in rural communities

TULSA, Okla. — The Mobile Connections bus for Fostering Connections launched in May.

They take the bus to five counties surrounding Tulsa County including, Creek, Okmulgee, Pawnee/Osage, Rogers and Muskogee/Wagoner.

The bus provides free clothing, shoes, school supplies, toys and games.

They have a brick and mortar resource center near 51st and Harvard where they’ve served Tulsa county children for years

The bus allows them to serve hundreds more children in rural areas.

Thursday August 26th at 5202 South Harvard Avenue (Rustic Cuff parking lot), they’re hosting a fundraiser to collect the items they need.

They’re looking for strollers, high chairs, car seats, baby baths, crib sheets, baby wash clothes, towels, kids shoes and new hygiene products.

The fundraiser runs from 5 to 7 p.m.

Anyone who donates will be entered to win a gift card and gift basket.

If you can’t make it to Thursday’s fundraiser, you can donate online https://www.fosteringconnectionsok.org/.
