TULSA, Okla. — Putting thermometers to the test.
They’re a hot commodity with cold and flu season here along with fever being a symptom of COVID-19.
FOX23 Anchor Shae Rozzi went shopping and found some thermometers sold out and the ones in stock ranging in price from $5-$65+.
With the help of a local pediatrician, they put them to the test to see if they’re accurate.
Some are off by a degree or two and the doctor says that can mean the difference of a trip to the doctor or hospital.
There’s somethings to keep in mind when thinking about buying the popular forehead infrared thermometers.
