TULSA, Okla. — The Great Race will make a stop in Sapulpa on June 22 at the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum.
Drivers of 125 vintage cars will drive from the Alamo in San Antonio to Greenville, South Carolina June 20-28.
The cars range from the 1910s to the 1970s.
According to the race website, the event is a controlled-speed, endurance rally, not a “top-speed” race. The drivers are given directions and have to stay within the speed limit.
Spectators can see the cars and meet the drivers when they stop for lunch at the museum.
