TULSA, Okla. — An event centered around the HBO series “Watchmen” is coming to Tulsa’s Philbrook Museum on Friday.
The program explores the creative side of the show -- along with the content and history -- including its portrayal of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.
The event will feature a conversation with Watchmen set designer Edward McLoughlin and a Skype interview Tulsa native and actor Tim Blake Nelson and director/producer Nicole Kassell.
Several classic Watchmen comic books will be on display along with a piece of art HBO used in one of the episodes.
The event is sold out but Philbrook is looking into the possibility of live-streaming the event.
