Missing 3-year-old found in OKC, police continue to search for aunt

THE VILLAGE, Okla. — UPDATE, 9/14/2022: Nicholas has been found. Investigators say he was found locked in an abandoned car after someone heard crying. Police are still searching for Sleeper’s aunt, Alania Pedro.

Officers with The Village Police Department are searching for a missing 3-year-old boy.

Investigators believe Nicholas Sleeper is with his aunt, Alania Pedro. They were last seen near Britton and N. Pennsylvania Avenue in Oklahoma City.

This is not a criminal matter, but family members are concerned because they can’t contact the pair.

Anyone with information about Pedro’s or Nicholas’ location is asked to call The Village Police Department at 405-751-9564.

Nicholas’ disappearance comes days after a 2-year-old boy’s body was found in Okemah.
