TULSA, Okla. — Quick Facts:
- A plaque is set to be dedicated Friday morning at noon in downtown Tulsa in honor of the film 'Rumble Fish."
- The plaque will be between 5th and 6th streets and Main and Boston.
- It will commemorate the filming location of "Rumble Fish" based on the S.E. Hinton novel and directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
- Outsiders House Executive Director Danny Boy O'Connor is spearheading the project along with ONE Gas and Price Family Properties.
- "Rumble Fish" starred Matt Dillon, Diana Lane, and Mickey Rourke and was filmed in and around Tulsa.
- O'Connor says he has several other sites in mind for plaques for filming locations around the city.
