Tulsa artists collaborate in community fundraiser to raise awareness for sexual assault survivors

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa artists are uniting for a collaborative event called, Artists for Change. Organizers Laura Voth and Brianna Shea are hoping to raise legal support for the victims of sexual assault in the community.

Original local artwork will be sold at an art market. Artists will donate a portion of their art sales for legal expenses for local victims of sexual assault.

Artists for Change will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8. on the patio of The Artery201 in downtown Tulsa. It will begin at 5 p.m.

A cash bar will be provided by The Brook and Chef’s Touch Catering Tulsa will offer little bites.

DJ Kylie and DJ Syd Lee will be entertaining the crowd with their musical talents.

Laura Voth is encouraging T-Town to support an important cause, “pick up some new original art, and be an active catalyst of change in our community.”

The event is free and open to the public.
