Tulsa Crime Stoppers partners with local breweries to host annual fundraiser

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Crime Stoppers is partnering with local breweries for the annual Badges-N-BBQ fundraising event on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Executive Director Karen Gilbert said this year they are turning the event into a street party.

“We are shutting down 7th Street from Utica to Wheeling and turning it into a big party with all of the breweries in that area,” Gilbert said.

Local first responders will be cooking barbecue and you will beer from the breweries.

The country band “Biscuits and Gravy” will be playing live for entertainment as well.

“What it does in the long run is helps us as a non-profit, helps pay for our tip line, our rewards, our operations, our programming,” Gilbert added.

Tickets are $75 per person, $500 for first responders with an ID. You can purchase tickets here.

If you want to buy a half-price ticket, you can do so at any of the three planned pre-sale events.

  • Friday, Aug. 26, at Dead Armadillo. , 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 30, American Solera, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 1, Marshall Brewing Company, 5:30 pm to 6:30 p.m.
