Woman shot in head while driving in north Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are investigating after a woman was shot in the head in north Tulsa Monday morning.

Officers say a woman flagged down an officer near East Admiral Place and North Yale Avenue around 3:20 a.m. saying she had been shot.

According to police, two vehicles were driving southbound on Yale when a person in one of the vehicles shot at the white SUV the woman was driving.

Police said a bullet went through the back windshield, hit the driver’s headrest, and then hit the woman in the head.

TPD says the woman was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Police are looking for the other car involved in the shooting.
