OU 2nd, OSU 3rd in Big 12 football preseason poll

The Big 12 preseason football poll is out. It was released Thursday. The Sooners and Cowboys are near the top but not at the top.

Baylor is number one. Oklahoma is number two, and Oklahoma State is number three. The Bears beat the Cowboys in a Big 12 Championship game thriller last season.

Baylor got 17 first-place votes in the poll. OU got 12, and OSU received nine first-place votes.

The Big 12 Football Media Days is next week at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Oklahoma State will face the cameras on Wednesday of next week. Oklahoma’s turn will be Thursday. FOX23 will be there with live coverage from AT&T Stadium on both days.
