Tulsa Public Schools hosts career fair, looking to hire teachers

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools is hosting a career fair aimed at hiring teachers.

The event is scheduled for Friday, August 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Education Service Center on New Haven Avenue.

There are positions available for all subjects and grades. Officials at the district are encouraging both certified teachers and college graduates holding a bachelor’s degree to attend the fair and learn about the positions. Those without certifications will learn about how to get the state certification.

The district is also searching for substitute teachers. Those interested can visit www.tulsaschools.org/substitute or call 918-746-6310.

Those attending the event in person must wear a mask at all times.
