The Burger Brothers made a stop at one of the Ron's Hamburger & Chili locations in Tulsa.
They stopped in at 15th and Denver to try the famous sausage burger.
Ron's son told FOX23 that his dad started the business in 1975 because he loved cooking. He saw an ad in the paper of a restaurant for sale for $10,000 and bought it. He knew nothing about the restaurant industry, he just knew he loved to cook.
Over the years they've perfected the recipes including the seasoning and chili recipes invented by Ron himself. They also still use a special trick to steam the burgers before they go to the table.
"Tulsa's just a burger town," owners said about the plethora of hometown burger joints in Green Country.
Ron's also has famous fans like Gaylard Sartain, Francis Ford Coppola, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Gary Busey and even Caroline Kennedy.
