OSDH issues weekly report, Oklahoma has more than 5,000 active COVID-19 cases

The Oklahoma State Department of Health released a situation update Thursday, Feb. 16.

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported 2,500 new COVID-19 cases between Feb. 5 and Feb. 11.

The seven-day rolling average stands at 357 cases.

The new addition brings the total number of the state’s positive cases to 1,281,551.

Active cases stand at 5,251.

Region 7, which includes just Tulsa County, reported 68 new hospitalizations.

Region 2, which includes northern counties of Green Country, reported 8 new hospitalizations.

Region 4, which includes counties south of Tulsa, reported 6 new hospitalizations.

The provisional death count is 17,827.
