Search continues in missing persons case in Turley

TURLEY, Okla. — Tulsa County sheriff’s investigators are back at the home of a missing Turley man whose remains were discovered last fall.

Jack Grimes’ remains were found in Turley in November, weeks after he was last seen in Tulsa. Grimes and his business partner, Dwayne Selby, were supposed to travel to Fort Worth in October for a horse show. The men never arrived.

Deputies are still searching for Selby and Selby’s mother, Glenda Parton, who has also been missing.

Investigators said Sunday no one has been ruled out as a suspect, including the two still missing—but are leaning more toward believing that they are victims too, not suspects.

“The fact that Jack would be found, but not Dwayne and Cookie, we’re looking at all possibilities,” said Casey Roebuck with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office. “We’re still looking for Dwayne and Cookie. We think it’s possible that they might still be here and just haven’t found evidence of it. Even if we don’t find any signs of human remains… could there be phones in there? Could there be a weapon in there.”

Despite the time gone by, investigators say the case is far from cold.

“We’re still working it, we’re still doing search warrants, we’re still waiting for forensic evidence to come back,” Roebuck said.

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information on the case to come forward and a tip line has been set up: 918-596-8836. Tips can also be emailed to: tips@tcso.org.
