Tulsa native, Garth Brooks, announces Las Vegas residency

Country superstar Garth Brooks announced a new residency on the Las Vegas strip Monday morning.

The Tulsa native and Oklahoma State University alum tweeted out a video saying, “Garth Brooks/Plus ONE,” will be at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace starting in 2023.

The 27-date residency is promoted by Live Nation/Caesars Entertainment.

“Vegas is the place where anything goes, and The Colosseum at Caesars is the heart of Vegas,” Brooks said in a statement. “The perfect combination to present a show that will not only push the envelope, it’s gonna shred it.”

The upcoming residency promises that no two shows are the same, with varying band members and occasional special guests slotted to span the residency dates.

This will be Brooks’ second residency in Vegas. The country singer’s five-year residency at the Wynn’s Encore Theater wrapped in 2014.

In 2019, he embarked on a three-year stadium tour, drawing nearly 3 million people.
